This research aimed to diagnose the performance of teachers and students in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) as technological tools that support the teaching and learning process at the "Rafael Rangel" campus of the University of Los Andes, Trujillo state. The methodology was framed within a descriptive research approach, the methodological strategy was observational, the study population consisted of 10 teachers and 50 students of both genders, the instrument used was a questionnaire, and the Likert scale was used; the content validity of the instruments used was established through the expert judgment technique of three experts, quantified using Kendall's W coefficient, and Cronbach's alpha was used for the reliability analysis. The results showed consistency among the higher values on the scale in the group of teachers, with the vast majority stating that they have always or almost always fostered conditions to promote the development of the ICT dimensions under study. The students, for their part, revealed consistency among the middle values on the scale, with most reporting that they occasionally carry out learning activities related to ICT. Conclusion: The performance of both teachers and students is developing, as the frequencies found describe behaviors in which expertise and flexibility in the use of ICT are being progressively acquired in the educational context examined.
