The postpandemic society. Structural analysis for future scenarios in Venezuela

Abstract

This essay represents a first advance of the prospective study called “the post-pandemic society”, which
corresponds to the characterization and representation of the world system. For this, a prospective tool named structural analysis is used, which allows for the definition of variables and their relationships, the degree of influence of one on others, as well as their effect on the system as a complex whole. In this way, the theoretical elements, developed methodology, research scope and the initial approach to the behavior of the system, derived from the structural analysis, are shown, which yields the primary findings and some preliminary conclusions. Additionally, it has been important for researchers the adequate selection of key experts and the definition of variables that have made it possible to understand, in the first brushstrokes, the post pandemic phenomenon related to the behavior of Venezuelan society.
