Interactive software as a learning tool for children with auditory disability in the U.E. “Special Maturin”, state Monagas

Technology within education has gained great value in the last decades, that is why, the objective of this work was to develop a software to the Maturin Special Education Unit, focusing on interactivity to improve learning and teaching, both of the language in signs as bilingual (written-oral) in fi rst-grade students with hearing impairment, with this application the teachers of the institution, will have the facility to rely on technological resources and thus obtain a better attention of the students increasing the levels of formation. The modality of the investigation was feasible project, under the projective typeof comprehensive level, made by means
of a combination between the Requirements Engineering and the IWEB methodology, belonging to Roger Pressman. Para obtener la information seutilizo como tecnica la entrevista no estructurada, la revision documental y la oRoger Pressmanº bservation directa. El software interactivo desarrollado mejora la atencion dentro de los estudiantes con discapacidad auditiva, mediante el uso de recursos multimedia, que los formara para ser personas capaces de afrontar toda una vida, e instruir valores en pro de la convivencia humana. Se obtuvo como resultado mas tiempo de uso de los equipos denominados Canaimitas dentro del aula de clases, ademas de reducir el tiempo de adaptation de contenidos al lenguaje de senas por parte de los docentes. Asi mismo, se
genero un alto nivel de aceptacion para la integration de tecnologias al proceso de ensenanza-aprendizaje por parte de los facilitadores, estudiantes y representantes.
