Teaching values in primary school based on virtual learning environments in times of pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the process of teaching values in primary education in virtual learning environments in times of pandemic of the coronavirus known as COVID-19. The study was carried out as a documentary type research, supported by a bibliographic design, from which research works, doctoral theses, scientific articles and books referring to the subject under study were reviewed. The procedure consisted in the execution of processes of organization, analysis and interpretation of the theoretical positions referring to cognitive psychology, constructivism, values, and strategies to strengthen the knowledge from different activities from the virtual classroom, becoming a significant contribution for the development of formative activities of the student at the primary education level, since he cannot attend classes due to social confinement and to continue with his training, the teacher needs to use the virtual environment as a technological tool to strengthen the learning of values in his students.
